This annual event is designed to bring students from Years 10-12 and their teachers together to celebrate the importance of International Women’s Day. Our speaker at this event is teacher and author Amy Brown. She has taught Creative Writing at the University of Melbourne (where she gained her PhD), and Literature and Philosophy at the Mac.Robertson Girls’ High School. She has also published a series of four children’s novels, and three poetry collections. Her latest book, Neon Daze, a verse novel of early motherhood, was included in The Saturday Paper’s Best Books of 2019.
